over the holiday break, my creative collective (we're called 1998) and the animation studio that i work for (that's global mechanic) made the first in a series of stop-motion animated short films about the ten commandments. the series is simply called "The Ten Commandments". The first short we shot was for commandment number 5: Thou Shalt Not Kill. we think it turned out wonderfully!

and, the short has been getting some fairly good viewing attention. we've been featured on lost at e minor, design for mankind and creative review. very cool! we'll be releasing the subsequent films on our vimeo page, global mechanic's blog and through a series of other blogs as well so keep your eyes open for that. okay enough for now. i'll be back with more soonish!

Brilliant! When will there be more?
there are more shorts on their way. we just finished production on the second one (last night). this week will be devoted to post production and after that we will be having a short break and then should begin work on the 3rd short immediately after. so glad you liked it!
